- Life has been a whirlwind for me. Lots of surprises and endless opportunities has come my way this past few weeks! I know I haven't been around this site in a long time, but great things are happening:
Firstly, I had my first photo exhibit at a local coffee shop. My photos will be on display for the rest of this month. Last Saturday afternoon was my opening reception and it was a huge success! Family, friends and the community came out to see my photos on the "wall" and showed their support.
Secondly, since this is my first photo exhibit, I'm donating all of the proceeds to a dear friend of mine in the Philippines who is currently battling breast cancer. So far, I have sold more than half of my photos and still going strong...
And lastly, doors of opportunity keeps coming my way. I have a feeling that there will be more photography exhibits in the future. Please continue to pray for me. Thank you for your love and support. Cheers and God bless...
P.S. Check out the albums I'll be posting shortly. :)
- "Oh, the weather outside is frightful!" Hmmm, I've been dreaming of that White Christmas, and it finally came today just in time to ring into the new year! It's so calm and pretty out there...wishing everyone a fantastic year ahead FILLED and BLESSED with more L<3VE, PROSPERITY and HAPPINESS! Cheers to all of us!!!
- Oh, I just called the Walker's Tree Farm in Lehighton. April, an old college friend answered the phone and when Dianna, my college roommate found out I was on the other line, she yelled out that they have a potted Concolor Tree for me this year! Woo Hoo! Barry and I are picking up our Christmas tree tomorrow. Can't wait to smell the fresh citrus scent of that pine tree!!! :))
- is remembering her beloved Lola Carmelita...she would have been 99 years old today. :) I love you, Lola.
- Sorry folks I've been out of the loop here in Multiply. Been having a bit of a problem with some of my links, plus the fact that Multiply keeps re-routing me to sign-in over and over again every time I click on a page or post a comment within my account. I'm not really sure what's going on, but it seems like I have a broken link problem. I just notified Multiply's Customer Service and hopefully this problem I'm having will be rectified soon. For now, see you on Facebook!!! Hahaha

May the New Year
bring us Peace and Joy!
Love conquers all...
To attract good fortune, spend a new coin on an old friend, share an old pleasure with a new friend, and lift up the heart of a true friend by writing his name on the wings of a dragon.

It's My YEAR! Oh, Yea!
In China, oxen are put on a pedestal but in western society the odd one or two are found in china shops, while the rest find their way into America's favorite food, a beef burger.
"Ox", "Buffalo" or "Brown Earth Cow" are people who were born in the following years: 1901, 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, and 1997.
Those born under the influence of the "Ox" are said to be stable, persevering, tolerant folks with a strong character.
They seem to enjoy plodding along from day to day without griping or complaining and are seldom associated with flashy, get-rich-quick schemes.
Honest, open-minded, and meticulous when it comes to their responsibilities, "Ox" folk rarely lead you down the garden path or change their minds once they've made a decision...which can make them a tad obstinate according to the other animals in the blessed barnyard of life.
Beneath the placid, easy-going and unpretentious exterior of the "Earth Ox" lies a heart of gold, a modest amount of ambition, and a willingness to bear heavy burdens that might overwhelm others, not to mention a strong sense of loyalty and compassion towards family and friends.
With all this going for them, it's not surprising that they might also have a few niggly, not-so-nice characteristics as well like being a titch stubborn, a teensy-weensy bit too methodical, a little feisty with a fierce sense of competition. *Taken from www.squidoo.com*
